Bill Hayes is a biologist at Loma Linda University in California. He is known internationally for his research on rattlesnake striking behavior and on how much venom snakes and other poisonous animals inject during strikes. He is also interested in iguanas, particularly in studying and helping save the endangered rock iguana in the Bahamas.
