Chimp Culture
Explore the fascinating lives and ponder the endangered future of wild chimpanzees at the Chimpanzee Cultures Web site. Researchers at the University of St. Andrews, Scotland, and elsewhere document behavioral differences among chimpanzee populations and try to determine whether social learning and cultural factors account for the variations. The site includes links to leading investigators of these close relatives of humans.
